About Me

Who am I?

Well most importantly, I’m a wife, mother, daughter, and writer.

I started this blog Triplicity to combine my love of the internet and writing.

Other random things to know about me:

I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure.  How’s that for an introduction? But if you can’t handle me at my worst – you certainly don’t deserve to know me at my best.

I was born to be a writer. As a young girl, my notebooks were filled with plays, poems, short stories, and daytime soap operas.  Sadly, my life took several unexpected turns and with each turn I moved further away from writing.  I had to take time to eliminate the distractions and emotional vampires in my life before I could re-ignite my creative spirit.

I’m a great mom. I wasn’t so sure about the whole parenting thing before having children.  Breastfeeding, co-bedding, cloth diapers – OH MY!!! I’m glad I figured it out in enough time to produce two amazing children.

I find myself living in triplicate. Which is where I got the name of the blog Triplicity. This is a problem as I often lose the real ‘me’ in all of it.  Of course being a wife, mother and daughter is rewarding – but understanding and appreciating me is most important.

I value friendships although I’m highly selective of my close friendships. I’ve had the same three wonderful, magnificent, amazing ‘sister-friends’ for more than 30 years. There isn’t a week that goes by that we don’t talk or spend time together.

I want to be a well-respected writer.  I was mindful not to say a successful writer, because each person defines success differently.

I dream of the Amazon River.  I’ve never been to the Amazon, but it’s on my bucket list.  Spending a few weeks in awe of God’s beautiful creation would be a spiritual awaking.

My favorite animal is the Orangutan. The power and intelligence of the Orangutan is amazing.  I should probably add Sumatra and Borneo, Indonesia to my bucket list.

This is more information than you probably expected to know, but it’s me.

There is more and I plan to share it.

So pull up a chair, grab a glass of wine, and stay a while.  Through this blog, I will share my journey – from the magnificent to the obscene.
